I prepared meals in the full kitchen while looking out at the Ōkura River. I spent my mornings on the patio using the garden furniture to watch the local bird life. The house sat within a nature reserve, so I woke up to birds singing every morning.
I walked across the heated tile floors in my bathroom after I returned to the room. I enjoyed the city view from the balcony while I ate the snacks I found in my room. Sandra and Doug cooked a fantastic omelet for my breakfast each morning. A lift carried my luggage up to the room when I arrived for my five night stay.

Direct access to Cornwall Park
I walked through the garden gate to reach the sheep paddock in Cornwall Park. My room looked out over the swimming pool and the tennis court. I drank wine and ate fresh fruit provided in my well-stocked fridge during the evening.

Full kitchen pantry and supplies
I cooked with the complimentary staples I found in the full kitchen cupboards when I arrived. I ate my breakfast while I watched the sunrise from my bed. Vicki kept the pantry stocked with milk, butter, jam, and snacks during my stay.
I played a game of pool in the apartment before I listened to music through the surround sound setup linked to Alexa. I watched the parrot at the entrance who said hello when I arrived. The spa sat on the private grounds of the hotel.

Underfloor heating in the bathroom
I enjoyed the heated floors while soaking in the bath. My evening meal consisted of food I grilled on the barbecue at the rear of the hotel. Louis provided me with directions to local spots to visit during my time in the area.

Sky Tower views from the thirty-first floor
I watched the Sky Tower from my balcony on the thirty-first floor while I unpacked the bottle of wine and chocolates gifted by my host. My family swam in the two spa pools and the lane pool downstairs in the building. I cooked large meals in the kitchen and kept my clothes in the walk-in wardrobe throughout my stay.

Antiques within the 1880 home
I stayed in an 1880 building decorated with antiques and art. Heather and Roy left snacks and wine in my room while helping me with transportation across Auckland. Every morning I ate breakfast at the table inside the Victorian home.

Relaxing in the outdoor whirlpool
I soaked in the whirlpool on the terrace after arriving. I ate canapés Helen served during the afternoon and drank Pinot Noir with my dinner. I stayed in a bedroom area with private lounge and bathroom access throughout my 3 nights.
I ate breakfast in the sunny gardenwith a lawn that I walked on during my stay. I used the kitchen, which came fully equipped, before I stepped outside to access the nearby bus line that ran to the city center.
